Why Buy a Pontoon Boat on the Sunshine Coast?

The Sunshine Coast is one of Australia's premier boating destinations. With beautiful rivers, canals, estuaries and protected waterways, it's the ideal location to own a pontoon boat.

Popular boating destinations include:

  • Maroochy River
  • Noosa River
  • Mooloolah River
  • Pumicestone Passage
  • Bribie Island
  • Caloundra waterways
  • Kawana Waters
  • Moreton Bay
  • Tin Can Bay
  • Hervey Bay

Whether you're fishing, entertaining family, sightseeing or simply relaxing on the water, a pontoon boat provides one of the safest and most enjoyable boating experiences available.

Designed for Queensland Conditions

Queensland's marine environment is beautiful, but it can also be demanding. Saltwater, intense UV exposure, warm temperatures and changing tides require boats that are built to last.

Marine Dock Systems pontoon boats are engineered specifically for Australian conditions using high-quality rotationally moulded polyethylene pontoons that won't rust or corrode like traditional metal pontoons.

Exceptional Stability on the Water

One of the biggest reasons Queensland families choose pontoon boats is their outstanding stability.

Our carefully engineered pontoon designs provide excellent buoyancy, allowing passengers to move around comfortably while maintaining a smooth and stable ride.

This makes our boats perfect for:

  • Fishing
  • Family boating
  • Water sports support
  • Commercial operators
  • Tourism businesses
  • Waterfront property owners
  • Eco tours
  • Marine maintenance

Australian-Made Quality

Unlike many imported boats, Marine Dock Systems manufactures its pontoon boats in Australia.

Every vessel is built using premium materials, modern manufacturing techniques and decades of engineering experience.

Buying Australian-made means:

  • Superior build quality
  • Designed for local conditions
  • Local support
  • Replacement parts available
  • Custom manufacturing options
  • Supporting Australian jobs

Whether you want a recreational boat or a commercial work platform, we can build a solution that suits your needs.

Low-Maintenance Ownership

Our rotationally moulded polyethylene pontoons require very little maintenance compared to traditional construction materials.

They are:

  • UV stabilised
  • Rust proof
  • Corrosion resistant
  • Impact resistant
  • Long lasting
  • Easy to clean

This means you spend less time maintaining your boat and more time enjoying Queensland's spectacular waterways.

Boat Manufacturers
We are able to offer discounts for resellers and original equipment manufacturers. Here is a great example of our customers boat build that were well welcomed in the Australian market place reducing American and overseas imports. We are able to back up our resellers with good discounts and product support. Floats and nose cone can be sold separately if replacement is ever required. Float also pack and ship well fitting 8 units to slightly oversized pallet. Please contact us for a freight quote to your area. Pick up welcome from our factory at Riverstone NSW or Coolum QLD.
Pontoon - Day Boat

Timber Frame Boat
Timber framed pontoon boats are an option if you would like to build your own. No need for welding and is an inexpensive way to manufacture your party boat. Timber can bolt straight through the moulded holes in the float. We are happy if you use our drawings and or ides to build your own dream BBQ Boat or even a house boat. We do recommend a fully welded aluminium frame although timber finds its place in the right application. Floats are manufactured in Sydney Australia by Dynaplas

Industrial Boats
This pontoon boat was manufactured to service a fresh water dam. It is used to gain access to overflow screens for cleaning. With customers such as Sydney Water, SA Water, The Australian Submarine corporation, Australian Defense Force and many local Australian councils. These pontoons are made to last, we have been manufacturing these since the early 1980's and have already proved themselves time and time again.

Boat Pontoon Dock
This boat is used as a standard access pontoon when not in use. Supplied with hinge lugs on the side for a six meter ramp to be attached.

333 Litre floats can be used for small residential, swimming and pump pontoons. Here is a example of a great little pontoon one of our customers put together. Great work!

Shown here our Marine Dock Systems floats to make floating office and a great little house boat. Both of these were owner builders and used our polyethylene flotation modules.
