2000 LITRE FLOTATION MODULE
The 2000 Litre Flotation Module was computer designed for industrial applications such as mixer and or pump pontoons. The modules are instrisically very stable and have inbuilt horizontal lugs for assembly to framework with stainless steel nuts and bolts. This float is required to be foam filled, optimum load for this float is 1200kg but can take upto 1800kg when nearly fully submersed
Product weight 135kg foam filled.

1. What is the 2000 Litre Flotation Module?
The 2000 Litre Flotation Module is a heavy-duty industrial flotation unit designed for large floating structures, industrial pump pontoons, mixer platforms, treatment plant equipment and specialised marine applications.

2. What applications is the 2000 Litre float designed for?
The float is commonly used for industrial pump pontoons, mixer pontoons, sewage treatment plants, water treatment facilities, fish farms, work platforms, floating equipment bases and commercial marine projects.

3. What material is the 2000 Litre Flotation Module manufactured from?
The float is rotationally moulded from durable marine-grade polyethylene and is supplied foam filled for maximum flotation security.

4. Is the 2000 Litre float foam filled?
Yes. This flotation module is designed to be foam filled and supplied ready for industrial applications requiring high levels of safety and buoyancy retention.

5. Why is foam filling important?
Foam filling ensures the float continues to provide buoyancy even if the outer shell is damaged, making it ideal for critical industrial applications.

6. What is the recommended working load of the 2000 Litre float?
The optimum working load is approximately 1200kg per float for long-term performance and stability.

7. What is the maximum load capacity?
The float can support up to approximately 1800kg when operating close to full submersion levels.

8. How much does the float weigh?
The foam-filled flotation module weighs approximately 135kg.

9. Is the float stable?
Yes. The 2000 Litre Flotation Module was computer designed to provide excellent stability in demanding industrial environments.

10. Does the float have mounting points?
Yes. The module incorporates moulded horizontal mounting lugs for secure attachment to steel, aluminium or timber frameworks using stainless steel fasteners.

11. Can the float be used in wastewater treatment plants?
Yes. The module is commonly used in sewage treatment plants, wastewater lagoons, aeration systems and industrial water treatment facilities.

12. Is the float suitable for fish farming operations?
Yes. The float can be used for fish farm platforms, feeding systems and aquaculture infrastructure.

13. Can the float be used in saltwater?
Yes. Polyethylene construction provides excellent resistance to saltwater corrosion and harsh marine conditions.

14. Is the polyethylene UV stabilised?
Yes. The material is UV stabilised for long-term outdoor exposure in Australian conditions.

15. Will the float rust or corrode?
No. Polyethylene construction eliminates rust and corrosion issues commonly associated with steel flotation systems.

16. Is the float suitable for commercial and government projects?
Yes. The 2000 Litre Flotation Module is suitable for local councils, government infrastructure, utilities, industrial facilities and commercial marine projects.

17. Are engineering drawings available?
Yes. Detailed engineering drawings and installation information are available for the 2000 Litre Flotation Module and associated pontoon systems.

18. Can the float be incorporated into custom floating structures?
Yes. Marine Dock Systems regularly supplies flotation modules for custom-designed industrial and commercial floating platforms.

19. Is the float Australian made?
Yes. The 2000 Litre Flotation Module is proudly manufactured in Australia by Marine Dock Systems and Dynaplas Pty Ltd.
